No New Posts Slug and Jiggers Apothecary

One of the first stores to be seen when entering Diagon Alley from the Leaky Cauldron, this friendly potion store sells only the finest ingredients in potion making. Whether a school assignment or you just love to make potions, this is the place to visit; even if the prices are a bit ridiculous.

No New Posts Eeylop's Owl Emporium

On the corner leading to Knockturn Alley sits a rather cramped, loud shop. This dimly lit shop sells a variety of birds, primarily owls. You can find any type of owl that suits your letter delivery needs along with owl treats, and other various owl supplies. Remember to buy your owl something special!

No New Posts Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour

Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour is a miniscule building located in the middle of the alley. This kind ice cream shop is a student favorite. Unfortunately it got boarded up after the start of the Second War. If someone wants, they can still sneak in to find some enchanted never melting ice cream to snack on when The Leaky Cauldron food doesn't seem too appealing.

No New Posts Flourish and Blotts

Flourish and Blotts is the number one store in Diagon Alley to buy your books for Hogwarts - did we mention the only one? Though the manager of this busy bookstore can be a bit gruff, it is generally a pleasant atmosphere. Here is where you can purchase the books needed for classes, or to keep up to that intelligence. Avoid the screaming books.

No New Posts Gambol and Japes

Gambol and Japes is one of the two joke stores in Diagon Alley; and by far makes less business. This store isn't as popular as Zonko's but it can still get quite a crowd at it's crazy joke items. A favorite place of the Weasley Twins when they were students, their admirers still keep the business alive.

No New Posts Madam Malkin's Robes for all Occassion

With such a friendly owner, it is no wonder so many students go here for their robe needs. This robe and accessory store sells a variety of robes, from school robes to dress robes. You can come here for whatever clothing needs you have. Ignore the tape measure; it tends to measure every aspect of the person.

No New Posts Magical Menagerie

If you manage to ignore the incredibly loud various quacks, and animal screeches, the Magical Menagerie is a fanastic place to visit. Although you might not able to get very far within the store due to the minimal space between aisles, simply examining the various magical animals might make up for this. The walls are crammed with an assortment of animal treats, and toys, and one can barely walk two steps without coming into contact with yet another cage. There isn't a better place to buy pet supplies!

No New Posts Ollivander's Wand Shoppe

This dusty, old shoppe was once filled with customers wishing to buy a wizards most prized possession, a wand, until the Dark Lord's second appearance. The shop had been boarded up when Mr. Ollivander disappeared without a trace, and was kept so for a couple of years. Until very recently, the miniscule shop had been completely forgotten, and walked by without thought until Lucius Mailloux reopened in the summer of 2006. The store is once again open, and the magical tape measure is awaiting to take random measurements.

No New Posts Quality Quidditch Supplies

In the Wizarding World, it is every child's greatest dream to become a famous Quidditch player and to play for England. By the end of the day, the front window is incredibly fogged due to little hands and noses (along with big ones) pressing against the window, and breathing in awe. Just behind the thick sheet of glass holds three of the best brooms introduced last summer. This is the place in the wizarding world to buy Quidditch supplies, whether it be brooms, broom cleaning kits, or simply protective gloves.

No New Posts Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes

Perhaps the most popular shop in Diagon Alley, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes is guaranteed a laugh. The front window still holds Ministry posters reading 'U No Poo', and also holds coloured streamers. It is no wonder as to how the shop came so popular; with products varying from Skiving Snack Boxes to phony Dark Dectors, this store is the place to get your pranking supplies.

No New Posts Alley Streets

Far away from the idle chit-chats of wizards lie abandoned Alley Streets. Hardly anyone is ever seen within these few streets, for everyone is in Diagon Alley, purchasing goods. This place proves the quote, 'the scariest sound is no sounds'. The streets leading to Knockturn Alley are grimey and unwashed, the welcome mats not welcoming, and well, simply eerie. Many avoid these streets just in hopes of avoiding dark wizards, looking to pick off stranglers.

Board Information & Statistics

Board Description
Diagon Alley
Entering through the Leaky Cauldron (three across, two down), this cheery street is a hub of wizarding activity. Filled with shops that every witch and wizard will need, it is always bustling. The students, of course use the stores to get supplies and other items. Although some of the welcoming hospitality has left when the era of the infamous trio left, don't let that stop you from some weekend shopping.
